In our new series we will be going through a selection of stories from the Old Testament. If you grew up in the church you're likely familiar with these stories, but often in a children’s Sunday School lesson the stories get watered down a bit. Obviously they need to be told in a way that children can understand them and there are parts that even may need to be censored. The goal in going through these very familiar stories from the Old Testament is not to find or highlight the most salacious stories from the Old Testament but to go much deeper than a children's Sunday School lesson. And to see from a mature point of view what God wants to teach us through the trials and experiences of some of the most well-known people in the bible.
